Welcome Fellow Luddites

I have sometimes struggled with the idea that 'new' is 'better'. Finding myself becoming more and more retro-tech, I have decided to create a blog as a vehicle to post my thoughts and assorted ramblings on the subject. You might ask how a Luddite finds himself attempting to become a blogger; I ask that question myself. That's where the 'For Progress' comes in. Maybe we need a 'Luddite filter' through which we look at technology. There may be some stuff that even a Luddite need accept. We will have to see.
